What’s the difference between the new Ipod Touch and the old one?

I’ve just ordered an Ipod Touch, but it’s not the 2nd (new) version.

Is there much difference between the two models? In particularly, can I play games, software and access the same functions?

    2. The same specs of the same specs of the new ipod touch has the new ipod touch has speaker and it last longer about 36 hours and its adds side volume control buttons and its adds side volume control buttons and its adds side volume control.

    3. the differece is that the new model has : integrated volume keys , thinner with a new almminium case , built-in speaker , genius function

    4. The black bezel if were to choose between first gen as it has the new ipod.
